VolunteerLocal provides a variety of customization options to help you tailor both the administrative experience and the volunteer journey. From adjusting how events appear on your Landing Page to controlling profile settings, check-in requirements, and branding elements, these tools allow you to align the platform with your organizationās processes and policies.
To update these options:
From the menu, navigate to Account > Settings
Landing Page Options
Customize how your events appear to volunteers:
Choose how events are sorted
Show or hide events without publicly available shifts
Display the number of available shifts
Add a customizable link for volunteers to access their profile
Add additional content or instructions at the top of your Landing Page
Website Calendar Widget
Embed a VolunteerLocal calendar directly onto your website using the provided code snippet. This allows volunteers to view available opportunities without leaving your site.
Volunteer Experience
Control what volunteers see and how they interact with their profile:
Add custom content at the top of the volunteer profile page
Set profile links to expire after a certain period

Allow or prevent administrative check-in from bypassing the waiver requirement
