If you host multiple or recurring Events, consider sharing your main landing page link. It never changes and allows you to control which Event/Programs appear by toggling them Live and adjusting visibility settings.
If you prefer to promote a specific or private opportunity, each Event/Program also has its own unique link.
This article reviews the show and hide settings for both link types.
Landing Page Link/URL
If you host multiple Events or create a new Event each year, your landing page link/URL is a reliable, long-term link to share on your website, in emails, or on social media. This link never changes. You can control which Event/Programs appear by toggling them Live and choosing whether they are listed publicly.
To find your Landing Page link:
From the menu, navigate to Events & Programs > Events & Programs
At the top of the page, you'll find your landing page link:
- Click the double square icon to copy the link/URL to your clipboard
Event/Program Link/URL
If you prefer to promote a specific opportunity or share a private sign-up link, each Event/Program has its own unique URL that can be shared separately.
To find your Event/Program link:
From the menu, navigate to Events & Programs > Events & Programs
Scroll to your Event/Program, on the right, click the Copy URL button
The link/URL will copy to your clipboard
Show or Hide an Event/Program or Application on the Landing Page
You can control which Events/Programs or Applications appear on the Landing Page. For example, you may want to create a private Event/Program that is accessible only through its direct link.
💡 If your Event/Program is connected to an Application, you do not need to list the Application separately on the Landing Page. New volunteers who access the Event will automatically be prompted to complete the Volunteer Application before signing up for shifts
To update visibility on the Landing Page:
From the menu, navigate to Events & Programs > Events & Programs or Applications
Scroll to your Event/Program or Application, click Edit Detail
In the top section, enable or disable the toggle 'List on the landing page'
Click the Save button
Live / Offline Settings
Use the Live / Off toggle to control whether an Event/Program or Application is actively accepting volunteers.
To update Live/Off status:
From the menu, navigate to Events & Programs > Events & Programs or Applications
Scroll to your Event/Program or Application
Update the toggle to Live or Offline
Add Links to Your Website
Once you've copied your Landing Page or Event/Program link, you can add it straight to your own website — as a "Volunteer With Us" button, a navigation tab, or a call-to-action. You can also embed a Calendar Widget that shows your opportunities right on your site.
