Conditional logic allows you to display follow-up questions based on a volunteer’s response to a question or selection of a Job. This helps streamline your signup process.
Example:

Question: “Are you part of a group?” (Yes/No)
If Yes, display: “What is your group name?”
Show or Hide a Question Based on an Answer
The trigger question must be one of the following field types:
Dropdown (pick one answer)
List (pick multiple answers)
The conditional question can be any field type.
Enable a conditional question on the Application or Event/program
- From the menu, navigate to Events & Programs > Applications or Events & Programs
- Scroll to your Application or Event/Program, click Registration Form
- Within the Registration Form, scroll to your Conditional Question
- Select [QUESTIONS] Conditions to display or hide this question (at the bottom of the field)
Click to expand the options - Set the condition (hide or display)
- Select the trigger question from the dropdown
- Select the answer(s) that will trigger the conditional question
- Click the Save condition button
- Select [QUESTIONS] Conditions to display or hide this question (at the bottom of the field)
📌 Conditional questions will appear slightly indented beneath the main question.
Show or Hide a Question based on Job Selection
Event-level fields can be triggered based on Job selection. This condition can be used on any field type.
Enable a conditional question based on Job Selection
- From the menu, navigate to Events & Programs > Events & Programs
- Scroll to your Event/Program, click Registration Form
- Within the Registration Form, scroll to your Conditional Question
- Select [QUESTIONS] Conditions to display or hide this question (at the bottom of the field)
Click to expand the options - Set the condition (hide or display)
- Select the Job or Job(s) within the list
- Click the Save condition button
- Select [QUESTIONS] Conditions to display or hide this question (at the bottom of the field)
