VolunteerLocal has a direct integration with DonorPerfect, offering a one-way data push to DonorPerfect. Donor data (volunteers) and Other data (shifts & hours) can be pushed to DonorPerfect.
To get started
- Contact DonorPerfect support for your API key
- Contact VolunteerLocal support to activate the integration feature
Activating the Integration
- From the menu, navigate to Account -> DonorPerfect Integration
- Enter the DonorPerfect API key in the "Connection" section.
- If your API key is valid, the connection button at the top of the page will turn green and state "Connected."
Configuration & Field Mapping
Review the General Settings to account for your data and setup. We recommend contacting VolunteerLocal support to talk through the various configuration options.
Mapping contact fields between the two systems is done with a drag and drop interface. Any field in the Main and Bio sections are available to sync.
VolunteerLocal event/job/shift fields are mapped to fields in the Other section.
Manual data push options are available. This feature is often used when the sync is first established to do a "catch up" data sync. It can be used to find differences and duplicates between the two systems.
Scheduled (automated) data push options are available for daily, weekly or monthly schedules.
In addition to the mass data push options pictured here, individual volunteer records can be pushed from the volunteer's profile view.
Manual and scheduled data push results are logged and available for review during and after a sync.
